Custom Orders
Every sawmill is manufactured to order. We thoroughly test your mill before it leaves our workshop, ensuring that every product meets our no-compromise quality standards.
Training & Support
Your sawmill comes with a comprehensive instruction and maintenance manual. Telephone technical support is always available to you.
Purchasing, Manufacture & Delivery
Build your sawmill page:
- Worldwide customers. International Sea freight delivery included.
- USA customers. Collect at Smith Sawmill Services shop.
- New Zealand customers. Collect at Turbosawmill shop. GST inclusive.
- Australia. Collect at major east coast port. Customs clearance and GST inclusive.
- Purchased by email only, and through dealer where applicable.
Online Store:
- Worldwide customers. International FedEx Airfreight delivery included. Local entry TAX not included where applicable.
- New Zealand customers. NZ couriers delivery included. GST inclusive.
- Australian customers. FedEx Airfreight delivery included. Local entry TAX not included where applicable.
- Use your local applicable currency only when purchasing online.
- List price and currency differentiates according to:

- FedEx additional price removed when consolidating with your sawmill purchase via email.
- Orders may not be accepted if you have not included your sawmill serial number. This is required to prove you own one of our portable sawmills. This is a requirement due to liability issues. We reserve the right to refund your payment in this case.
General Manufacturing:
- Manufacturing time 4-12 weeks.
- Shipping time 1-3 months depending on country.
- Airfreight 7 days.
Taxes (if applicable) to be paid by the customer. - 100% deposit down (means we can start building your mill).
- Should you change your mind during manufacture we reserve the right to retain 10% of your deposit as an inconvenience fee. The remaining deposit will be refunded once your intended mill has been sold on.
- We do not have control of shipping delays (The world COVID-19 situation is very unpredictable currently).
- ◦ We will not be held responsible for shipping delays should they arise.
- We will not be held to any liability from delays in receiving your mill. Your loss of potential earnings is at your own risk (we recommend putting your order in well in advance to prevent any such scenario). There are many entities involved with international export/import - mistakes sometimes happen. Generally, your loss of potential earnings is at your own risk.
Warranty
- Your Honda engine warranty is covered for 3 years by the manufacturer.
- Should an engine issue arise, contact your local Honda dealer for a site visit. They will then ascertain whether it will be covered under warranty.
- Your Kubota, and 3 phase electric motor’s warranty are covered for 2 years by the manufacturer.
- Your sawmill will come with a 2-year mechanical warranty against faulty manufacture. Items deemed to be faulty must be returned to our factory, we need to confirm the issue. If items are too large to return, we will evaluate on a case-by-case scenario.
- Any work done must first be confirmed and agreed by Turbosawmill.
- The following parts are designated as standard wear items (not covered by warranty):
- Carriage roller bearings and plastic cowling.
- Belts.
- Pivot struts.
- Power feed rope.
- Blade tips.
- Plastic slider pads.
- Rubber track brake contact.
