Makers of the Ultimate Portable Swing-blade Sawmills.

Turbosawmill is built on a simple idea: great machinery should be honest, efficient, and unmistakably original.

Our story begins long before the modern machines you see today. The designers behind Turbosawmill come from a lineage of sawmill innovators who helped shape the swing-blade industry itself. From early tube-frame concepts through multiple generations of experimentation, refinement, and real-world use, our designs evolved not by accident or imitation, but by deliberate choice.

At the heart of Turbosawmill is a distinctive monorail T-frame architecture. This form was never a default or a shortcut. It was a conscious design decision -one that balanced structure, accuracy, simplicity, and visual clarity. Across many years and many prototypes, there were countless ways the machines could have been built. The final form exists because it was chosen, refined, and protected as an expression of how a swing-blade sawmill should work and look.

That philosophy carries through everything we do. Turbosawmill machines are designed to minimize log handling, maximize recovery, and keep the operator in control. Unlimited log diameter, single-end operation, quick-change sharpen able blades, and straightforward automation are not marketing features—they are outcomes of a design process driven by practical sawmilling experience in forests, farms, and yards around the world.

We don’t chase complexity for its own sake. Our sawmills are intentionally mechanical, robust, and serviceable, with fewer moving parts and long-term support in mind. Every component is there for a reason. Every line in the machine has a purpose.

Today, Turbosawmill machines are operating globally—from small owner-operators to commercial producers—cutting everything from structural timber to wide live-edge slabs. While the brand continues to evolve, the core principles remain unchanged: originality, integrity of design, and respect for the craft of sawmilling.

Turbosawmill is not a copy of what came before. It is the result of decades of experience, design evolution, and a clear belief that good engineering can also be distinctive, expressive, and enduring.

That’s who we are.

“The job was completed in the time anticipated. The work was immaculate. The boys were extremely professional and tidied every day before they left. Communication was every day as to their progress. I couldn’t be happier with the job. Looks amazing.”
– Patty, Tauranga
“Highly recommended. Fast and reliable and great service A+.”
– Anna, Mount Maunganui
“Professional approach to job. Cost as quoted. Work carried out ahead of schedule, a bonus. Praise issued to Centrescapes, Thomas and his apprentice helper.”
– Pam, Papamoa
"We have ongoing landscaping to do with Tom, but his work has been excellent so far."
– Rod Stuart, Tauranga
“The mill is very tough, well built, and has given us many, many hours of trouble-free use with very little maintenance required.”
— John Bailey
“The digital sizing is extremely accurate – I do not have to check things over with a measuring tape. We’ve had zero issues since we got it. The system is simple, very neat and professional.”
— John Mavros
“Turbosawmill is a very well-designed machine that can enhance your milling, especially with logs that can’t easily be moved. Customer service is great too.”
— Dennis Bizzoco
“The mill is very tough, well built, and has given us many, many hours of trouble-free use with very little maintenance required.”

After running the Mobile Dimension, the D&L swing, Wood Mizer, Lucas, Delta, and Timber Industries, and a number of others, this saw has been hands down the best machine at losing it all. It’s not the best at any one thing, but it’s the best at ALL things. Love my M12-28A. The beauty is in its simplicity and ease of use without compromising accuracy. Always within 1/16th every time. Thank you to Jake and the team for reaching out straight away to check in that everything was going smoothly. Customer service was top notch! Even out in the middle of nowhere BC Canada!

— Tim BC Canada (M12-28A)

“It is a much simpler design than the Peterson’s and yet it achieves better output, is far more accurate, and is easier to use. I am finding that the Turbo Mill has increased our output with a one-man operation by approximately 65% compared to the Lucas.”

— Steven Morris (M10-22A)

“Since I started last year I have milled about 40 mbf with the “little mill that could”, and it has not ceased to impress me, my 2 brothers who have come to join the fun from time to time and people for whom I have milled.”

— Karson Branham (M8-Manual)

"I have been so pleased with my M8 Warrior Auto with the 22hp motor.  I would recommend the 22hp upgrade to anyone.  My wife wanted a walk-in closet.  I altered our abandoned henhouse and made it into the walk-in-closet of her dreams by milling fallen trees on the farm within the first three weeks of operating my new mill.”

— Fred Evans (M8-22A)
