    ONE PERSON OPERATION

    THE ULTIMATE SAWMILL

    OPEN ACCESS

The frame is offered in a giant configuration, allowing you to mill some extremely large logs. It is constructed from stainless steel and anodized aluminium, giving you a strong, durable, and corrosion-resistant structure.

The open-frame design provides excellent access for loading logs, removing finished timber, and making adjustments for log taper.

When initially setting up to the log, you can align the mill accurately at the far end to follow the log correctly.

With single-end sizing and easy access around the entire machine, it is designed to be the ultimate one-person milling operation.

    SIMPLE AUTOMATION

Simply swing the blade into the horizontal position, which charges the gas strut. As the carriage reaches the end of the log, it hits a stop that releases the cam, allowing the blade to swing automatically into the vertical position.

    Extremely simple, reliable, and effective.

The mill is available with optional push-button sizing control or full computer sizing, giving you fast, accurate, and highly productive sawing.

    HYDROSTATIC FEED

The Power Feed system uses a hydrostatic drive, similar to the type of transmission found in a zero-turn ride-on lawnmower. It drives through a capstan pulley that allows controlled slip, effectively acting like a clutch and giving very smooth transitions.

The system has proven extremely reliable since we first introduced it.

A single control lever gives you full control over the carriage speed, from a very slow, controlled feed through to a much faster speed for lighter or shallower cuts.

No servo motors · No hydraulic rams · No complicated electronics · Just a simple reliable, productive sawmill.

    24"

    WIDE, IN TWO PASSES

This mill features a massive 12-inch by 12-inch standard cut, with the ability to double cut up to 24 inches wide. Double cutting is achieved by making a horizontal cut from one side of the log, then cutting horizontally from the opposite side to produce a full double-width beam.

The mill is built in our giant-frame configuration, giving you the capacity to handle very large logs while maintaining excellent access around the machine.

It also features one-person automation. You can start with the first vertical cut, complete the horizontal cut, then actuate the second vertical cut while you stack the previous board. This keeps the machine cutting continuously and makes the operation as efficient as possible.

Taper adjustment is handled at the far end of the mill, while single-end sizing is controlled from the operator end.

For even greater automation, the mill can be fitted with optional push-button sizing controls or full computer sizing.

Power comes from a massive 35-horsepower V-twin engine, giving the mill the strength and production capability required for serious sawmilling.

    BATCH CUTTING

You can perform all of your vertical cuts efficiently while seated at the controls, then swing the blade into the horizontal position, plunge in, and release all of those boards in one batch.

It’s a very productive and efficient way to saw, reducing unnecessary movement and keeping the cutting process flowing.

    01

    CUT YOUR VERTICAL FACES

Make all your deep vertical cuts across the log face from the operator position while seated.

    02

    RELEASE TOGETHER

Swing to horizontal, release a stack of vertical cuts in one pass, then stack the boards and repeat.

    03

    STACK WHILE IT CUTS

Start vertical, finish horizontal, then actuate the next vertical cut automatically while you stack the previous board.

    04

    CUT YOUR HORIZONTAL FACES

Likewise, make multiple horizontal cuts first, then swing vertical and cut them all free in one sequence.

    MOVE AS ONE MACHINE

    STANDARD

    JOCKEY WHEELS

Heavy-duty ATV jockey wheels are fitted as standard. Lower the mill and reposition it around the yard by hand or behind an ATV.

    OPTIONAL

    DOLLY TRAILER KIT

The mill lowers onto the trailer frame and connects to a tow hitch at the far end. Setup and pack-down in just 10 to 20 minutes.

    OR

    LIFT IT WHOLE

Pick the complete sawmill up with a loader and set it on a 30 ft gooseneck. Nothing comes apart.

    EXAMPLE OF ONE PERSON OPERATION

Here’s the finished 2026 upgraded M12 sawing New Zealand pine and showing just how productive one person can be on the mill. While the machine cuts the next board, the previous board is automatically pulled back into your hands, ready to stack. You simply stack the timber while the M12 keeps cutting, creating a smooth and highly efficient one-person workflow.

CLOSE UP POWERING THROUGH HORIZONTAL CUTS

We mounted a GoPro directly onto the main carriage of the M12 to give a close-up view of the machine in action. It really shows the power and stability of the mill as it drives through the log, completing a six-inch horizontal cut in a single pass.

    THE FINISHED 2026 UPGRADES

A quick walk-around of our upgraded 2026 M12. It’s a very simple machine by design, and that simplicity is one of its greatest strengths. Clean, practical, heavy-duty construction with everything there for a reason.

    OUR WORKSHOP IN NEW ZEALAND

Here’s a closer look at the substantial upgrades introduced across the 2026 M12. These include larger shafts, a heavier-duty frame, increased stainless steel construction, reduced reliance on powder coating, and a new clear visor for added eye protection. With numerous refinements throughout the machine, the 2026 upgrades have taken the overall build quality, durability, and finish of the M12 to an entirely new level.

CONTAINER IS FILLED WITH M12 MILLS

Here’s an example of how we pack our M12 units into a 40-foot container for delivery to our agents around the world. Everything is carefully positioned and secured to make the best use of the container space and ensure the machines arrive safely and ready for final setup.

THE 2026 MODEL SAWING UP SMALL LOGS

This is an awesome review from Richard in the U.S., who had some fantastic things to say about his M12. It’s always great to hear directly from customers who are using the machine in the real world and seeing what it can do for their operation.

CLOSE UP OF THE 2026 MODEL SAWING

This footage was taken using Austin’s personal mill in Maine, USA, just after we unpacked it from the container and commissioned it prior to delivery. Dean is operating the mill here and has been with Turbosawmill for more than 10 years, so he knows these machines inside and out.

M12 WITH COMPUTER SIZING SAWING HARDWOOD

Here’s some footage from the New Zealand National Fieldays, sawing tough eucalyptus with the Turbo Sawmill. Using the computer sizing, the mill cuts the next board while the previous one is dragged back, keeping the whole process moving smoothly and efficiently even in hard timber.

THE M12 FITTED WITH COMPUTER SIZING

A quick look at an earlier M12 fitted with computer sizing, showing the clean, elegant operation of the machine and its built-in drag-back facility. A simple setup that keeps the process smooth, controlled, and efficient from cut to cut.

SAWING THE HARDEST TIMBERS IN THE WORLD

This is Beau's mill in Australia sawing tough ironbark using the Turbo Sawmill with computer sizing. Beau processes hardwood for his firewood business and is absolutely wrapped with his machine. This is a great example of the complete process and just how simple and efficient it can be to turn even some of Australia’s hardest timbers into accurately sized lumber.
