The Turbosawmill M10 manual swing-blade sawmill is a lightweight, highly efficient machine built around simplicity and precision. Its rigid single-beam monorail design provides open access to logs of virtually any diameter while keeping the carriage extremely easy to push, reducing operator fatigue. With an 10-inch swing blade, clean mechanical operation, and fast setup, the M10 delivers accurate, versatile timber cutting in a compact, fully portable package—ideal for owner-operators who value control, reliability, and ease of use.

What it cuts

10" × 10" beam, or double cut to 20" wide by sawing both sides of the blade.
14 ft (4.2 m) log cut length, extendable to 20 ft; longer again with the centre leg.
Logs to 4 ft (1.3 m) diameter, though any diameter may be sawn.
Manual feed, single-end vertical and horizontal sizing.

One 5-tooth insert blade, tool, extra tips and sharpener. A drill of your own is required.

WALK AROUND IT

OPEN ACCESS, ONE BEAM

Incredibly light to push, the carriage rolls smoothly along the single monorail beam, while the two inverted T-frame end frames provide completely open access around the log. The result is a simple, highly productive machine with very little to get in the way.

THE CARRIAGE

The carriage is built from high-quality stainless steel and features push handles on both sides, so there is no need to pull the machine back toward you. Powered by a strong four-stroke engine, it delivers an impressive 10-inch cutting capacity.

START BY PUSHING, UPGRADE LATER TO POWERFEED

Start with a simple push mill — push through the cut, swing the blade, pull it back, and you have a board. Later, you can upgrade to a more automated setup with power feed and automatic blade swing, giving you a clear path to add productivity as your needs grow.

No turning the log · No hydraulics · No electronics · Just a very simple productive sawmill.

WIDE, IN TWO PASSES

This mill features a 10-inch by 10-inch standard cut, with the ability to double cut up to 20 inches wide. Double cutting is achieved by making a horizontal cut from one side of the log, then cutting horizontally from the opposite side to produce a full double-width beam.

It also features an optional one-person automation system. You can start with the first vertical cut, complete the horizontal cut, then actuate the second vertical cut while you stack the previous board. This keeps the machine cutting continuously and makes the operation as efficient as possible.

Single-end sizing is controlled from the operator end.

Power comes from a 25-horsepower V-twin engine, providing strong, reliable performance for serious sawmilling.

PACK-DOWN

Split the mill into parts or roll it away

The M10 breaks down into manageable components for two-person transport. Remove the engine from the carriage, load the smaller components into your truck bed, and carry the beam on the truck rack.

Optional jockey wheels make moving the complete mill around site easy, while the trailer kit takes portability even further, reducing pack-up time to around 10–15 minutes.

LIFT THE ENGINE OFF

Unbolt the engine and its four mounting bolts.

BLADE AND GUARD

Take off the blade and horizontal guard if you want the carriage lighter still.

CARRY IT OUT

Two people lift the carriage by its built-in handles, straight into a work tray or vehicle.

BEAM ON THE RACK

Unbolt the end frames, pull the chains, and the single-length beam goes on a roof rack.

MOVE AS ONE MACHINE

DISASSEMBLE IT

The machine can be broken down into smaller components by two people using basic tools, although disassembly can take around 30 minutes or more. The main beam weighs approximately 70 kg, so two-person handling is recommended.

It is fully portable, but for regular movement the preferred option is to use the jockey wheels or trailer system for a much quicker setup and pack-up.

OPTIONAL

ATV JOCKEY WHEELS

With the optional jockey wheels, simply lower the mill onto the wheels and move it around by hand, much like a small boat trailer. Quick and easy.

DOLLY TRAILER KIT

The trailer kit is the ultimate portability solution. Simply lower the mill onto the trailer, clamp it to the beam, connect the tow hitch, and use your vehicle to move it around the property. Setup or pack-up takes around 10–15 minutes.

M10/M8 MOUNTED WITH ELECTRIC POWERFEED

This is a great example of how you can start with a manual machine and simply add the electric power feed later on. That upgrade turns the mill into a powerful one-person automated system, allowing you to stack the previous board while the machine carries on cutting the next one.

M10/M8 WITH LARGER MOTOR

Here’s some footage of an earlier M8/M10 model sawing sleepers from tough eucalyptus logs. This machine is fitted with the six-foot extension and powered by the larger Honda engine option. Moving forward, these models are typically supplied with the Loncin 25 hp engine, giving plenty of power for demanding hardwood applications.

PUSH IT OR AUTOMATE IT

This is an earlier video featuring the M6, but it demonstrates the same basic concept as the current M10 we offer today. You can purchase the mill as a simple push model and then upgrade it later to a powered, automated system. This footage was taken in Japan.

Here’s a close-up look at how the auto upgrade kit is installed onto the M8 or M10. It’s a straightforward upgrade that converts the mill from manual push operation into a powered system, giving you a simple path to greater productivity without replacing the entire machine.

JAPANESE TV SHOWING OFF THE WARRIOR

Here’s some footage from one of our demonstrations in Japan. This is the Warrior Mill fitted with the earlier M6, but it shows the same basic operating principle as today’s M10, now paired with the larger 25 hp engine. It was a very successful event, and a local TV station even came along to film the demonstration.

Here’s some footage sawing Japanese hardwood, showing just how simple the process can be. Make the horizontal cut, swing the blade vertical, and you have a finished board. There’s no need to constantly re-handle the log, move slabs around, or re-edge boards afterwards — just a straightforward, efficient process from log to timber.

SO EASY TO PUSH AND PULL

Age really isn’t a barrier with this design. The carriage operates almost like an oversized handsaw — simply push it through the cut, swing the blade, and pull it back. You’re not pushing and pulling a heavy frame, so the movement is light, simple, and easy to control.
