LIGHT WEIGHT
RAW POWER
THE SIZING SYSTEM
The PowerSaw uses simple setworks with no chains, cogs, or complex mechanisms. Release the toggle clamp, slide the stop to your required size, lock it, and push the frame against it. Vertical sizing works the same way using the winch.
With so few moving parts, the mill is easy to use, maintain, and assemble in around 15 minutes.
USES YOUR CHAINSAW
We provide the sawmill — you provide the chainsaw. A 90cc+ professional saw, such as a Stihl or Husqvarna, is ideal. It mounts to the mill just like fitting a guide bar and uses the chainsaw’s onboard chain tensioner and lubrication system.
MANUAL FEED
Operation is extremely simple. Swing the chainsaw into the horizontal position, throttle up using the supplied remote throttle, and push through the cut. At the far end, flip the blade and pull it back.
Simply listen to the chainsaw RPM and keep it in its sweet spot as you move through the timber.
No gearbox · No electronics · No pulley · No belts · No battery · A truly simplistic, yet productive sawmill.
14"
WIDE, IN TWO PASSES
The M7 cuts a 7" × 7" beam in a single pass — push through horizontally, swing the blade, bring it back, and the beam is complete.
For wider timber, the M7 can double-cut up to 14" wide by cutting horizontally from one side of the log, then from the opposite side. Simply roll the log between the end frames and remove your timber through the open side.
The open-frame design means log diameter is rarely the limitation. Set the mill up where you need it, block under the feet if required, and work around very large logs with ease.
Sizing is equally simple: slide the toggle clamp to your required dimension, lock it, move the frame to the stop, and secure it. A winch raises and lowers the frame for vertical sizing.
VERTICAL, THEN HORIZONTAL
One blade does both cuts. Swing it over and take the next face.
01
SET THE LOG
Set the log up first, or simply set the mill around the log — whether it is lying on the ground or raised on blocks with a square notch cut into them. Either method works.
02
CUT HORIZONTAL
Swing the blade into the horizontal position, throttle up the chainsaw using the remote throttle, then smoothly push the saw through the log to complete the cut.
03
SWING AND CUT VERTICAL
At the far end, swing the blade into the vertical position, throttle the chainsaw up again, and pull it back through the log to complete the second cut and finish your edged board.
04
DOUBLE-CUT FOR WIDER BOARDS
For wider boards, swing the blade back to horizontal, slide the entire frame across to the opposite side of the log, and make a second horizontal cut. The two cuts meet in the centre, allowing you to produce boards up to 14 inches wide.
ONE PERSON, ANYWHERE
150KG, IT GOES WHERE THE LOG IS
STANDARD
330 LB COMPLETE
At only 150 kg, the M7 breaks down into smaller components, making it easy for two people to move from log to log or site to site. One-person movement is possible, although the 60 kg main beam makes two-person handling much easier.
OPTIONAL
PACKS INTO 1.2 M³
The complete M7 packs into just two compact packages: the full-length or split beam, depending on your chosen configuration, and a small box containing the carriage and end frames.
OPTIONAL
RUEDAS DE JOCKEY
Optional jockey wheels make moving the M7 even easier. Simply lower the mill onto the wheels and roll it around your farm or project site. With the wheels fitted, one person can manoeuvre it much like a small boat trailer.
